Business Referrals Count was born from the experience of Randy Fisher (see below), who over the course of his career has referred in excess of $2.5M in business to startups, established businesses, lawyers, accountants, psychologists, project managers, graphic / web designers, software developers and more. Why? Because he knew people - and he also knew that he would get paid for it. This site is about sharing these opportunities with a wider audience.
Randy S. Fisher
Randy "Shawn" Fisher is the President and Founder of DigiWise Digital Solutions LLC and Customer Discovery Pros in Somerset, NJ. He has been the director of marketing and growth at several startups including Innovation Within (product/market-fit) and WarmCall (smarter screening for hiring / lead qualification). He has a Masters in Organization Management and Development (Fielding); a graduate degree in Journalism (Univ. King's College); and a BA in Political Science (McGill).
Randy is a mentor in the National Science Foundation's I-Corps program. He also teaches in Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations - business / proposal writing and interview skills. He is passionate about Customer Discovery and advising and mentoring entrepreneurs, and finding new customers and partners for new and underserved segments.
As Executive Director of Development Wisdom.org, in Ottawa Canada (2013-2016), he honed his focus on the power of education for skills development and capacity-building for underserved, vulnerable and at-risk communities. At the Commonwealth of Learning in Vancouver, (2007-2010) he helped build the earliest MOOCs, and the WikiEducator.org / OER community of 18,000+ educators in 120 countries
